Accommodation Maintenance and Housekeeper support person Required

Based in Mannum, and servicing various outlying areas, closely associated accommodation businesses Mannum Motel and River Shack Rentals are searching for a valued team member who can support the daily operations of a diverse accommodation providers team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Undertakes basic maintenance such as changing light fittings, tap washers, shower heads etc.
  • Maintains the appearance of grounds – blower vacuuming, pressure cleaning, window washing, minor painting, gardening.
  • Liaises with the team for stock control, ordering, purchasing and distribution.
  • Assists in housekeeping and laundry as required.
  • Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  • Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
  • Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items such as cots, extra towels, etc.
  • Reports necessary maintenance items.
  • Follows departmental policies and procedures.
  • Follows all safety, OH’s and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
  • Performs additional duties as needed.
  • Driver’s licence and time management skills are a requirement.

Generally, 4 days per week, Hours will vary, some weekend work expected, flexible hours for the right person. Some local (30km-50km) travel may be required on a semi regular basis. Occasional over time may be offered or required.
